Popularized Hierarchical Pre-filtration Consolidates Whole-house Water Purification with PP Sediment Cartridges

Whole-house and commercial water purification systems are increasingly equipped with pre-filtration modules. PP sediment cartridges stably intercept large raw water particles and reduce operation and maintenance pressure on rear water purification equipment.
With growing public awareness of drinking water health, the penetration rate of whole-house and commercial water purification equipment continues to rise, highlighting the importance of pre-filtration. As the first protection barrier of water purification systems, PP sediment cartridges filter sediment, rust, colloid and suspended particles in tap water and groundwater, preventing large particles from entering precision components and reducing membrane blockage and pipeline wear.
The industry has formed standardized three-stage pre-filtration solutions with coarse, medium and fine PP cartridges to achieve gradient filtration suitable for raw water with different turbidity. To meet the high-flow demand of whole-house water purification, manufacturers develop upgraded large-diameter PP cartridges with high dirt holding capacity to enhance impurity interception and extend replacement cycles.
These cartridges are widely applied in community centralized water purification, office building commercial water dispensers, household whole-house water purification and industrial pure water pretreatment. Standardized pre-filtration stabilizes system operation, reduces failure rates and maintenance costs, and prolongs the service life of high-end consumables such as activated carbon and RO membranes.
